Happy Labor Day!!!

As I was thinking about "labor" day and work yesterday - a memory of how this passage awakened in my life came to my mind…Jesus was speaking to multitudes of people:
Come to Me, all who are weary, heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For My yoke is easy, and my burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30)
Come to me! All who are fatigued, who work hard, even those who are overburdened with ceremony, and I will give you rest. Take up My servitude for yourself, and also learn from Me; because I am mild, gentle, even humble of heart in feeling and thought: you will find rest, refreshment for your souls. For My yoke, My servitude is easy, pleasant, kind, useful, and My burden, My task is light, easy, not burdensome. (meaning I find for myself in Matthew 11:28-30, using Strong's Concordance in Bible HUB).
I've experienced this "relief" that Jesus offers, even in my work life - everywhere that I have chosen God's design, put Him first, oriented my heart toward Him, He has shown up, no exception, no matter who I have been - and I have never been disappointed, I have never regretted that choice. For choices I've made outside of His design, I have many regrets, and even in the rubble of consequence from those choices, Jesus has walked through that rubble to get to me, comfort me, tell me, it is ok, as He shares the details of Himself and His way, guiding me "let this go, don't get stuck here - I have plans for you, you were created with purpose".
As I walk through my day, interacting with Him throughout, I find myself further and further from the anxiety of a shaken world, my broken soul, and closer to the peace and rest in my Creator - closer to the purpose for which I was created - to meet God face to face, share with Him the details of me, and learn from Him of the intricacies of Himself - and, in turn, share that goodness with anyone else who wants, on their own, to recognize and know their Creator.
Am I perfect? Absolutely not! I continue dealing with "weeds" - plucking them as I recognize them for what they are - but I have picked enough weeds that my view is not so obstructed that I remain "stuck" in them, circling round and round ending up nowhere - I am no longer lost in them - in Jesus, I have the tools to annihilate them! There, in Jesus, I find rest for my soul.
